My aim for 2013 is to create a blog, which for me – a total technophobe, will be no mean feat!

Before I look forward to 2013, I must review my creative activities of 2012….

In January 2012 I embarked on the TAST(Take a Stitch Tuesday) challenge and totally surprised myself by completing a sample of every stitch to date…!

I have hosted the Fabric Postcard swaps on Stitchin Fingers for several months and participated in both PC swaps and Textile Artist Trading Cards every month for the whole year…!

In May, I completed Sharon B’s ‘Sumptuous Surface Embroidery’ Course on line, and was blown away by the effects I was able to achieve.

In September, I enrolled on an Art Course at the local Community Centre and have produced to date three water colour paintings, which I am reasonable happy with as a complete newbie to the painting process…

I am a continuing participant in a weekly textile workshop run by Sue Sercombe of ‘TexArt Creative’ fame….(my  mentor), and I have a ‘fab four’ creative friends who keep me inspired and motivated.
